Lyk a bawssss

Had quite a pleasant day today. Nice weather, nice breeze, sun was out. Music was up, drum n bass was blastin'. Overall a kick ass day. To finish off a kick ass day for myself, and maybe brighten some others, I have for you some free tunes. A personal selection of some local and international talent. Talent most definitely being the operative word here.

To kick it off, I have for you a Canadian electro mastermind by the name of Barletta, a friend of mine and an extremely helpful one on a producer's angle.

Has a real Summer edge to it, feels like I need to be at a beach. Top track, Pick it up for free.

Barletta's take on a track of Afrojack's, defintiely worth a listen. Definitely works in my mind, Free download.

Barletta's Soundcloud, just for some extra goodness.

Now a flight over to the UK, Prime is a dubstep producer (as the majority of them are there) and brings forward an energetic feeling to his tracks. Solid as all hell and big speakers crave his existence. I have for you, his remix on Pendulum's 'The Island', was entered into their competition and missed out by the paint layer on his MIDI controller. Seriously sweet tune, I have it for you kids for FREE.

Check it out, download it here.

While we're still in the UK, a before mentioned producer on my blog that goes by the name of Chrispy whipped up a little something special for Halloween. Great track, the piano work at the start is just awesome, complemented by a messy, grimey as all fuck drop. Get moist, this track's just huge.

Back to home land, Melbourne's home of a young talented duo, definitely making their mark on the Melbourne club scene. Tom and Tristan make the delightful disco-funk duo Concept, I have for you a remix of theirs and an original track known from every corner of the globe. The track's dark and gloomy, sample-abused and ready to be dropped in any set. And because free love is the best love, Concept have given this banger out for free. Get on to it while you can!

Last but definitely not least, Melbourne dance scene guru Matt Lavars. A good friend of mine on a personal basis and a force to not be reckoned with. Having just completed a remix for another Melbourne producer Dark Electric (which is being released alongside DYL, Kemikal and D-Railed), he's then moved forward to complete a driving, intense as shit tech trance track by the name of 'Let Go'. For everyone interested, it's FREE! Check his, (and everyone else in this section's) Soundcloud for some more mind fuckingly amazing music. What makes them better? They're all from Melbourne!
