Father Life

You heard me, I'm a father and I'm not even legal yet. Hardy hah hah. Oh Peter you're a fucking joker...

Dada Life has been an influence of mine for quite some time now. Not for years, in fact not even half a year. Actually I think it's about half of half a year, two four hundredths of a century; so not that long at all really. The way his tracks are placed, the library of unique synth, effect and sample placement are ear catching and cool. He has a very unique style that I believe should be yelled out.

In saying this I have for you 4 of my favourite Dada tracks, all worthy of mention and all just as awesome as each other.

Though I do recommend you support him and purchase his tracks, I've left you some treats just because I'm a tender and sweet kinda guy.

Fizzy delight.

First off I'd like to apologise for my lack of posting over the last week. My composure has been at a shortfall, my head feels somewhere close to 2 tonne heavier and I'm passing out more liquid through my nose than a soft drink factory.

Now that that's out of the way, Mu-Gen's first official release 'Fizzdom' is definitely one to watch out for. With it's hard hitting percussions, whacked out vocals and tribal insanity the track is bound to get you squealing for more. The remixes on the EP do just as much justice, Sam Tiba's remix as a definite stand out.

Instead of me blabbering about it; grab your spear, wind up the tribe and blast some Melbourne-based Gold!

Soon to be released.

Peace.

Phones Inside Muscle Cars.

Today is cold and wet. Cold, and oh so very wet.

Cold and wet means stay inside, inside means music. Music means I find reasons to talk shit. Lucky you...

Having had it's sneak peak released quite some time ago, DJ Bam Bam's "Bonafied Hustler" EP hit the streets through Beatport just yesterday. The hype kicked the living shit out of the music world, reaching spot number 20 in the Beatport Electro/House Top 100, in less than 24 hours.

Having said that, the track it amazing. Intense vocal warping better than a Dr. Spock speech on acid, percussion better than a chart topping African tribe and the usual Bam Bam signature apeshit effects roll.

I'm be nice enough to post download links to it but to be honest I'd rather you bought it. It deserves the whole $2.49 you put in to it.

Here it is, Bonafied Hustlaaaaaaaaar.

Pop & Wob it.

I am back with a late night post.
Minimal stupidity and a hell of a lot of catchy motherfuckin' tune.

Right here is a track by the one and most likely the only Sean Taylor, a track that made me senselessly rock the hell out, to a point where my chair wanted to murder me. I'll have you know, chair rocking is God. It beats midget porn, nothing to this date bet midget porn except for angry leprechauns on Jerry Springer.

Being released on Big Poppa Records on the Queens birthday, I see it more as a present to the Queen as opposed to a present to the public. It's seriously fucking rocking.

Here it is, the song that kept me all night and left my poor head in serious pain, Sean Taylor's "Face To Face".

Support a white man, buy this release.

Blue Suede Shoes.

Today, as you might have imagined.

Is Thursday.
Thursday means pay day.
Pay day is my friend because Mr. Monopoly gives me money that I probably don't deserve.
Rambling aside, I have for you 3 choices.

A) Have a bat
B) Have a bat
C) Think about having a bat, take your pants off then lose motivation. Continue for the remainder of your day without wearing pants.

Doing either of the previous 3 steps gives you two free mixtapes.

One from the ever so iridescent Ryan Leeson, a shorter mix than desired but a colourful piece of work that will leave you avin' a whopper bat before you can scream the words 'HEY GUYS I'M AVIN' A BAT!'

Second of all; a mix from yours truely. This mix is guaranteed to get you up and dancing, sitting at the bar chatting up the hottest possible woman in the room and taking a massive pee on your Year 7 math teacher's car for failing you in that trigonometry test all at the same time whilst wearing no clothes. It's really that manipulative; I promise.

Please Note: This mix was 4 seconds short of 13.37

It seems I have returned. Oh, the joy.

To add to my collection of delightful music posts brings a bearded young fellow by the name of Nathan. The better of most and the slightest bit more musically plausible than this here blog maker. Having had a small break to regain his freshness, he's jumped back at the world with a mix he likes to call, 'Comeback Special'.

In the words of Glenn Robbins; 'Have a dip, ya dickhead.'

Here's a Melbournite I've trampled across quite a lot of recent.
the owner of skitzofonik blog and the man of all things house, including all the delightful accoutrement (coffees, a fridge, porn, etc.)
I bring you a mix from Melbourne's west, featuring the tastiest of all things cheesy (the melted and solid variety).

As a bonus, I'm dropping you Mr. Eli B's mix alongside it. Well, it's under it, but alongunder it is grammatically incorrect and sounds like something a retard high school student would whip up to try and sound intelligent. Nevertheless, check it out.

Enjoy.

dooooooooooooooooooood.

yaywoot.

First post.
This'll probably consist of music from some and others, promoting events that I'm DJing at, events that I intend on going to and some good old fashion bullshit that I storm up through my day.

That's about it really.
